Please provide expos on anything that would help me understand your punchelines.

I rock ya with "One Wing Angles" and a Nodachi

Expo: Seph is short for Sephiroth, he is known as the "One Wing Angel"

Expo: Nodachi in this case is a metaphor for a long reaching bar. Nodachi is a oversized katana used for killing Bushi warriors on horseback.

Note the set-up is good but the punch is mediocre. You want to make sure your not over explaining. That is all.

Now let's re-word this punch:

With Seph chance your dreams Cloud, you a cocky nobody
You "air writs" (Arris), "death's from above" "with the nodachi"

Expo: Sephiroth, Arris and Cloud are Final Fantasy 7 characters.

Expo: The Nodachi is the name of Seph's sword.

Expo: Death is translation for Shini (double entendre).

I am still waiting a pending decision. Thanks to Seanny T for adding his input.

So far I have

RRC

Chi-Town

SRD

Going on to round 2. Instead of waiting for 3 judges me and another judge will vote on it. If the judge just agrees with my score then that will be a flat average. To get three competent punchline judges right now will be a little hard, but I think people are starting to get the hang of writing punchlines so I will probably not have a judging issue in the next tourney.

BTW try to stay on topic in the rooms. I have to read through everyone's comments and it is faster if I am just reading about the battle.

Annoying Artist, you have to re-submit your bars by today or Alucard will advance. Shouts out to Chi-Town and SRD for doing their thing. They wrote some pretty good punches.

Honorable mention goes to Mr. Flames this month for funniest drop thus far.

February's H.O.F.(Hall Of Fame) will be announced soon, so keep an open eye for that.

Personally I'd like to go against either chi town because I want another shot, or alucard because we've never battled. If I was to make it to the finals I'd like to face SRD because we've been quite heated with each other lately and I'd think it would put up a nice battle.

Yea it's kinda been since uhh I don't know when you came back on but then I calmed down and got heated again at the beginning of this tourney. I wouldn't say we're as heated as you and flames but still non the less heated.
