One of Justin Timberlake 's biggest influences was the late Michael Jackson , so it must be especially thrilling for him to be featured on the King of Pop's new posthumous album, Xscape.

I agree that it's hard to sell a CD if there's no hit single to draw buyers in. Of course, all the f'loons will run out and buy it, but there seems to be fewer and fewer fans these days. Plus, the Wade Robson trial going on at the same time won't help sales in the least. Sony and The Jackson camp are trying to breathe life into something that is already dead in the water. There won't be much money to be made here to their obvious dismay.
I think Sony is definitely spending a lot of money promoting the CD and it will be interesting to see what Wacko can do on his debut week with his posthumous album. The hype will still make its way onto the charts but the key is staying there. I do not think it will be on the charts very long even if it does manage to knock "Frozen" off the top. Mind you, that the soundtrack only sold one hundred thousand copies to hold on to number one. Whatever Michael Jackson's "Xscape" does, it shall be short lived. Of course, floons will see it as the second coming of the dead clown. Six months from now, it will be on the bottom shelves and a year from now, it will be another Michael Jackson bargan bin or clearance item. I am more excited about Led Zeppelin's first three album reissues. Especially, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III. The bonus material sounds really excellent. It surprised me listening to some of it on You Tube. The studio outtake stuff and unreleased tunes on the expanded discs are really different and the sound is top notch.

In other news, Billboard is stating the track may enter the Billboard chart this week in the lower regions to its initial good response.
