I didn't put 2Pac or Eminem there because they obviously have the most fans but don't ask me why Weezy is there.

Okay, so I presume this is an acronym for 'Greatest of All Time'?

If so, it's impossible if you offer a mere 10 options. Plus, there's going to be all these children that don't know what they're talking about, like on the board you linked us too.

Out of the ten, I, personally, think that the two greatest of all time aren't in there - Big L and Immortal Technique.

After looking at the list, the only one I could hands-down take out there and rape, is Little Wayne. He makes me cringe. Then there's Jay Z and Ice Cube. Only my opinion though. The other seven, I like, but my point is that you can never create a realistic or fair conclusion by merely listing ten.

Big L and Immortal technique were and are great MC's but neither of them stepped to the top at any point in there careers. Ice Cube used to be a dope azz MC and out of gangster rappers I would put him at the top. Weezy is not an MC, or a rapper, he makes pimped out dance music. Kool g rap was good and had his time, the juice crew is dope but he doesn't belong on the list. Krs 1 should be the definition of an MC. Rakim is the DR. J to Nas' micheal jordan. Some dumb ass is going to say wezzy, eminem, or soulja boy is Kobe but everbody who knows anything knows Kobe ain't got s hit on Jordan. Jay Z is so dope but wouldn't put him before NAs but he aint far. Publc Enemy is on some whole differnt type s hit. They are in a class on there own just because there music was so different. Top 10 group of all time. Remeber back in the day you had to be good to get record deal from a major label and had to be great to get commercial recognition. Now its an over produced, poorly constructed, over hyped, warrentyless, piece of s it you use once or twice and then need to go buy a new one.

Good point. I was thinking that maybe the poll should've been like this:
- 2Pac
- Nas
- Jay-Z
- B.I.G.
- Rakim
- KRS-One
- Ice Cube
- Eminem
-???(maybe lil wayne just to aim it at a wider audience because there are alot of people wh do consider him the GOAT. I really hate this cock sucker but its really hard to ignore him)
-???
But who do you think the other 2 should be.

Weezy F. Baby = Weezy F****** Baby (literally)
Sorry, I can never get over how positively true that is lol.

I'm quite surprised no one's gone for Biggie yet! He's very good, despite being overrated. What happened to all this "there's never gonna be anyone as good as 2 Pac or Biggie"? I was under the assumption that most of you American guys were massive fans.

Anyway, I went for KRS, my third favourite after Big L and Technique. Nas comes fourth.

I would include groups into this list because some of the create a sound.
My favorite group of all time is A Tribe Called Quest. Are Q tip or Phife my favorite MC's, NO!
But as a group I think you ask any other rapper and they would say that that group had an influence on them. De La Soul is another group that created a sound like no other. Flavor Flav is an alright MC, not in the top 100 for me, But what he added to P.E. makes them Awsome. Its unfortunate that underground Hip Hop is forced to stay there, Underground. were as back in the day thats were the good, inovative sounds came from.
Weezy is garbage.

1. Chuck D (surprised this poll even listed him. Young heads act like PE was Flava Flav's group)
2. Tupac
3. Ice Cube
4. LL Cool J
5. Rakim
6. Snoop Dogg
7. Jay Z
8. Eminem
9. Notorious B.I.G.
10. KRS One
That's how I see it. Anybody who disagrees Chuck D is the greatest emcee ever, listen to Rebel Without a Pause, Welcome to the Terrordome, and Can't Truss It back to back. Case closed. He paved the way for Tupac's success, which unfortunately distorted the imagery of the game into what it has become.

Solid post!
Disagree somewhat with Nas being Top 10, but thoroughly fleshed out.

I thought the whole "theres never gonna be two rappers as good as Pac and Biggy" was a worldwide thing.I hate it im so sick of people with the pac biggy stuff.I cant go to a store without seeing 2pacs face on a t-shirt its so annoying.
My favorite is definitly Nas then Rakim and Krs-1.
