Megadeth cuz they've have the best METAL GUITARIST EVER!(Mustaine and Marty). Besides Rust in peace is technically the greatest metal album ever.

I think in 80's Metallica was before Megadeth with their milestone albums but they abandoned their way in 90's , at the early 90's Megadeth was the greatest Trash band with albums like Rust in Peace and Countdown.

oh and Metallica's new songs .... a not really that bad
they will never get a Master of Puppets anyway so might as well forget about that. But the new songs are better than St. Anger
( not that that is to hard to get )

Metallica

1: They have an amazing drummer (Lars Ulrich)
2: They may not as many albums as Slayer, Megadeth, or Anthrax but there songs are way better
3: They had an insane bassist (Cliff Burton)
4: Lars Ulrich has a new day competition with Joey from Slipknot
5: They did what was right for the band and got rid of Dave Mustain. And had James Hetfield go into rehab
6: Kirk Hammet did a song with Carlos Santana

thats why Metallica is the best

Lars is an ok drummer wouldn't say hes amazing
they did what was right getting rid of Dave
and I would like to see what they would do if Cliff was still alive

as for James he is not fun now hes that hes not an angry alcholic
Kirk is good and glad to hear his solos again I hate when people say Kirk sucks because he replaced Dave

Lars is a great creative drummer and songwriter, but technically, he's a really crappy player...

The guys got oodles more talent than me musically, but I can def outplay him. he really should learn some technique, he ruins some songs live with his looseness and can't be bothered to play the Justice songs properly when any practised drummer could handle them.

~Lazy bastard, no respect for him. Wasting his talent, instead preferring to get rich
