The only hologram I'd ever consider seeing is Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. They aren't my favorite band, but right up there (sorry Kurt but Alice In Chains has you beat.) This is only cause I was born in 1986 and never got a chance to see them play live...I have a few concert dvds of them and they look really cool. That being said though at the same time...it wouldn't be the same and since I have read up a ton of books on Kurt Cobain I doubt he'd like this. However, it would be the closest I ever get to seeing them play live ever.

That would also be cool to see a hologram of Layne Staley when I go see Alice In Chains (no they are not on tour now, but it's not a matter of IF I see them play, it's a matter of when.)

i would rather have real dvd concert footage than a hologram of a dead person - creepy. Holograms to accompany (living) artists while you listen to the music would be worthwhile. A little disc connected to your ipod where you could watch a hologram while listening to the song.

As opposed to a little disc connected to your ipod where you could watch their videos, you mean?

I like the holograms idea. The Elvis The Concert gigs have been playing with something similar but not as sophisticated for years and those gigs are amazing.

All references to the O2 arena are purely coincidental and are in no way a suggestion that the dead Elvis went where the alive Wacko feared to tread.

Check out this video of Freddie Mercury. Only the other two guys on stage are real.
