Seriously! Some of my friends are emo (I am metalhead, btw), and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. People say they're all weirdos and that they all like to cut themselves. They make fun of them for dressing in all black, listening to emo music, etc. etc. Why? They're human, just like everyone else is. Stop the hating. Please.

Sweetie...
There have been many threads in this forum about this topic. All it does is causes fights and annoyances. I think you shouldn't worry about it. If you like your emo friends, then more power to you!

Theres already a forum like this on the Punk boards. But that ones all bashing and crap. I agree with Goddess, if you like hanging with certain people, then thats your thing. Most of my friends are punks and metalheads. I don't know many Goths [none in this area] and all the emo kids are around 12-16. Not my age group.

And if this is in response to my posts to blood, wtf? I'm not bashing him, I am trying to be friendly. But I guess my sarcasm may be too much. Whatever, he can dish it out but he can't take it...bold.

Even out of high school there are a lot of people like that too. Outside of high school [or any school for that matter] people are content with letting others live their lives the way they want to, but theres still those few kooks who believe that "its their way or the highway."

There are people like that in the world. Its sad to think it, but it happens. But he told the whole class? Wow, I would be pissed at him too. And I know it sounds hard to do it, but just ignore it all. I know it doesn't serve as much consolation, but when you graduate, those kids are usually the ones asking for friendship. And its up to you if you'd like to be friends with them...or not. Same thing happened to me to, but things like that don't matter after you graduate and are away from those kids.
Thats the truth!

I've known people that have kids, kids that are around my age [22 gonna be 23 in June] that still make fun of people in a childish manner. Discrimination is something that just gets me angry. Not only as someone who believes in alternate things, or someone who is only 5'00", but a person that has endured head trauma. People treat it like its a disease, its not! Managers in the past have "thumbed their nose" at me [as so to say, it slipped out] because I must be a lesser person because I've had that. Well, I'm ok with it. I'm finally ok with the fact I had this happen a little over 12 years ago, and their criticism shows me how childish they are when it comes to "judging people". Most managers judge me even more so because I'm a female! People can say that we're in the 21st [?] century, and that we've gotten beyond gender misconceptions and gender profiling, but a lot of people still do it. And it angers me...but I'll let it slide. I can't help it they still act like cavemen, but what more can I say?

not only does it have to be something about origins or disabilities!

it can also just be for the exact same reason for why bullyies pick on kids at school.
because some might act sliiightly different than others.

i remember when i started high school, the bullies used to try out different people by randomly picking on someone, then deciding wether or not to continue picking on them, by looking at how the victim reacted.

people who started crying for an example quickly became the favourite victim.

This is starting to anger me =_=. Reminds me of my middle school years. I was the bullies favorite target, I didn't cry tho for don's misunderstanding sake. They couldn't judge me on how I dress because we had to wear uniforms and when they banned the uniforms we had to wear school colors. Because I wasn't "popular". I ended that shit when I got to high school. Don you're right not givin a fuck makes it a whole lot easier but sometimes I say something tho. They talk trash I talk trash back :] and everybody's laughing through it all.*sips kool-aid then crushes the cup in the palm of my hand*=_= the fuckin bastards..I'll kick their ass if they ever in they life try me again like that.*punches wall and walks off*

problem is there's very few ways of not becoming a victim if they're trying you out.

if you run, you're a victim
if you cry, you're a victim

if you fight back and loose, you're a victim,

and it's a bigger chance that you'll loose rather than win, and winning a fight doesn't always mean you'll win the war, as these scavengers tend to hunt in flocks and pick on the lone and vurnable one.

Better start cheating when they fight the bullies. Poke'em in the eyes, kick'em in the balls, punch'em in the throat. Hell spit in they face just for the insult on injury. Gotta start defending themselves.

It bothers me when it happens in general. I just loathe people who do that, and sometimes it makes me think their head would be better off for some other use. Its annoying when kids do it, yes. But its a thousand times more annoying when adults do it. Hey, they're legal. I'm legal. Hahahah! Nah, I wouldn't ever hurt someone else. Ever. Not unless they hurt an animal.

Sounds like my school experience...but without the uniforms. Even the kids who got picked on, picked on me! Thanks to the gods that I've graduated, and I don't have to see those bitches ever again![Reunions? Go to hell! Like I'd really pay 10 bucks to sit and drink with a bunch of people I hate. Its better spent going to the movies minus popcorn and such.] I won't kick their ass, or beat the living shit out of them [whichever you prefer]...but I have gotten a little better at damaging people. Lets just say, I don't want to pay because they have to get their jaw rewired. Or that they hafta go into surgery because thier adams apple got knocked into their throat. I make a much better friend than I do an enemy.[I could also give blackmailing a shot too...]
