Who cares! This story must be a filler since no one knows who Juanita is.

This is total disbelief,I can't believe he calls himself a minister,
a child of God.
Mr. Weeks if I was you I couldn't play with God that way.
Shame!!!!!

We do not know the entire story. Until, why not just pray for both and save such comments. We are supposed to be Christians. Therefore, instead of making threats, disparaging comments and acting anything but a Christian -- pray for them both.

I agree. The (christian) women that I've talked were very critical. Both are God's servant and we are constantly under attack. Remember don't look @ the person but the spirit behind it. Remember Jesus rebuked Paul. I know it is hard to turn the other cheek but we should'nt be part time christians.
Indeed it was horrific but let us pray as a family and keep the Weeks in our prayers.

Can you imagine how broken the souls of both are, and have been for sometime, in order for them to go to this point? Selah
Can you imagine the harbored sin it took to get to this point? Selah
Imagine seeing yourself lying in the street, with the burden of sin pressing you down. Selah
This is how I see both, and myself, when I see a brother or sister in a relationship honored by God, in such a condition. Selah
Don't forget we all have clay feet. Believe it or not, if they are pillars where do we stand?

I think we all should be praying for the couple, I love both of them and have been inspired by Evangelist Bynaum's teching for years. Anyone who is married should be praying and know that we are not exempt, the enemy is coming in full force to kill, steal, and destroy, we must fight back by joining together in prayer through God'd word which will never fail.

If i am wrong,i ask to be forgiven.I believe prop.Bynum was better off to stay as she was before marriage;even her short hair and black suits and white scarf..better than long hair and a big diamond.I believe we all can serve God better and do more for his kingdom, unmarried. It is not a sin in the eyesight of God to be unmaried. After all, there is no biblical law that says,we must marry.Gods requirement is that we are dedicated to him 100% If we do marry...we should not marry a mismatched person;much less a person that we have "nothing in common." God should always be first in our lives:the rest will all pass.

It is sad that Bishop Weeks do not love Dr. Bynum as Christ loves the church.

Not making excuses for him, but it is not a good idea to follow and fuss at an already angry man. Bad idea....

How ignorant can you possibly be? Just because you don't know who she is, doesn't mean the christian community doesn't. Obviously you had some interst in it if you took the time out your day to read the little bit that is posted here and make a comment about it. Once again, just because your simple mind doesn't know about a major role model in the christian community, doesn't mean that no one else does.

Sorry, let me clarify my message. I was responding to one of the first messages from above claiming that no one knew who Prop Bynum was.

I am shocked and dismayed of this occurrence. Nothing they could be going through could warrant this catastrophe.

Where a bishop would be kicking his prophet wife in public knowing very well that they are very high profile people.

I am sickened, but must remind myself they are just human beings like myself.

I feel that what's happened is a travesty for Juanita Bynum, her husband, Thomas Weeks III, and Christians everywhere.
There has been a war against the family, and these people know God, but they're human.
While the Christian thing to do is to resolve without conflict, we know that God can forgive and restore. Prayerfully everyone will realize that falls aren't good in the body of Christ, but it's the getting back up that we should be praying for. So, please let's not judge, or condemn, but pray that God will still help them walk into their purpose and destiny.

Let us all take heed lest we fall. Jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Brothers and sisters lets wake up and not be distracted. The enemy is busy and if you are not on watch you will fall victim to his wiles. Everyone of us is made of flesh. Instead of casting judgement let us pray that God will move in this situation. That he will heal the hurt, disappointment, and shame. No one is immune to the enemy. Sis Bynum is a powerful woman in God, and the devil doesn't like that. She has really done some damage in the spirit realm and you can believe he is working overtime to destroy her and he will use anyone and anything that makes itself available. The act of choking, kicking and beating is wrong and it will be judged...but it is not our place. The Lord knows all and sees all. Let's leave it with Him.

Let us be careful that we do not do harm to ourselves in speaking against God's chosen. If he was approved and chosen by God who are you to put your mouth on him. He is a man, made of flesh just as youself. The Bible says..."touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm." This would include speaking words against them as well. King David, a man after God's own heart...had a problem with women, yet will still a powerful, anointed king. His heart was toward God and he was repeatant and God preserved him and will do the same for Bishop Weeks. I sure you know we all have sinned AND fall short of HIS glory. God will judge him accordingly. I urge you to not suffer your mouth to sin..it could become a curse to you.
