In November, I hope New Jersey's voters will defeat those of our esteemed legislative incumbents who hold any taxpayer-funded job except legislator. State Senator Ellen Karcher wants a loophole-free ban on dual -office holding. I applaud her efforts. Unfortunately, the political loophole was invented here in New Jersey. Will there be any meaningful change? The people will have to force it.
