Anything that gets these artists and the consumers out of the clutches of the RIAA is a good thing.

After the fall of the record industry, which will happen in about 3 months, real artists will emerge from the ashes, driven by a need to create music, not the crap that's been shoved down our throats for so long.

This is great. In music and the arts, just as in "regular" business, innovation in production and marketing is really important.
