I have two daughters that go to LHS and I promise you I would never vote for that man for anything. He is a disgrace to his profession. Sad that the school board is supporting him with anything.

Did you get a call from their notification system begging for votes? I was not thrilled when the phone rang and it was a telemarketing call for this event especially since it is all over Facebook and the local news. I don't think the new public notification system should be used to solicit votes from the director of marketing. I understand this is a school related event but I'm afraid before long the phone will be ringing off the hook for every event all the schools may need support on. It is bad enough with the telemarketing calls from companies but the last thing we need is the school system telemarketing events. I love this new notification system but for goodness sake I hope they don't abuse it. I do hope this school wins the money. I really do. It would be nice to see these kids receive some benefit from the money.

Be nice if the Teachers worried about "Teaching" for a "Change" :)

What do you do for a living? If this man is in this contest, someone nominated him and thinks he does a good job.I'd say he "worries" quite a bit about teaching! Funny how everyone knows what teachers should do, yet those with the opinions never spent a day in a classroom teaching students.

For the record: yes, I am a former teacher, with MANY years in the classroom. No, I do not know or have any connection to the young man discussed here. Wouldn't it be nice if parents worried about being parents?
