It's a speaker. You can play music from your phone, ipad, etc with or without wires. The difference is, it is pretty loud with a good sound. You can also download music to it as well. They good for sampling music when not at your laptop, or listening to music and not having to carry a lot of stuff like sterio systems, etc.

I'll probably buy one when I get my taxes back in a couple weeks. like I said, the ones on amazon are nice, but the geek box is pretty sweet.

It is a cheap piece of shit made in china that they are buying for very little and charging a lot for it. I can't believe Aaron would support junk from china.

i cant believe people would get on here and say "these 30$ ones on amazon cant do everything the geekbox can" there is nothing special about the geek box, except you're paying for charles bell compugeeks sticker on the device.. there are several EDR 2.1 bluetooth wireless speakers, even bigger ones.. if you look at compugeeks geekbox own manual http://geekboxspeaker.com/doc/manual.pdf look for the "made in china", you can even google "china bluetooth wireless speaker" and there are several there that you can order in bulk paying ~12-25$ a piece depending on model.. for anyone to buy into this scam is a joke, really how many people just want to spend 80$ on something they will only use a few times... what charles has done is taking a cheap product, "BRANDED IT",(omg its arron tippin sponsored and compugeeks branded
) and pushing it out to the public, if i know consumers they're not unintelligent, i can see this being about as big of a flop as that stupid wireless internet service he started right as Verizon 4G LTE rolled out.. looking at all the picture on facebook of all the sparta business owners and rotary club members hes smoozed, yeah its a big great event, lets go to nashville and the opry and hang out with arron, i am sure tippin doesnt give 2 sh!tz and he's been in the music business a while, he knows contracts and the "game" i hope hes charging charles at least a grand each time he appears for him.. heres how the geekbox works, sell one .. make enough profit to have 2 more free... maybe he will sale 33 of them to break even on his order of 100.. but i would love to see him loose his @$$ on the deal! anyone that buys into this bit is a pawn..

85 dB sensitivity and only goes down to 100 Hz? A total 3 watt draw? There are cellphones with better bass response and power than that. Max volume would be like 90 dB, and the frequency range of a kick drum has to be like 80 dB at best on this thing.

I've got a pair of Grado headphones that rate as loud as this does at 1 meter. HEADPHONES!

Uh actually...No illegal anything. Music Artist customized labels are only used with the Artist approval. No units are labeled and sold with an Artist likeness without they're permission and specific agreement. Talk about what you know. I know, because I market to them. Have people wanting certain customizations and we turn down because we have no agreement with the Artist.
