Country singer hopes to bring back live music back

We didn't want to be known as a bar. We wanted to be known as a restaurant, and for the entertainment. Singer Eddie Montgomery of the country music duo Montgomery Gentry is building a restaurant, entertainment and shopping complex on about 40 acres along the U.S. 127 bypass in Mercer County , just south of ... via The Courier-Journal

good. mercer county is in great need of entertainment. there is absolutly nothing there to do. my parents live there and when I go to visit I would like somewhere to go.

I think thats going to bring in more jobs and lots of entertainment for Mercer Co. I was at the Raise The Roof Gala and Eddie was there and told us he was gonna bring more to our town.(It was really cool meeting him too!)I will be so glad to have a nice place to go instead of either going all the way to Lex.,Frankfort & Danville Ky.We need to put our tax dollars in our own town.Now the next thing we need is something for the kids: like a bowling alley or movie theater!

wow, how cud danville let this one go??? this is a great addition to the area not to mention the new horse/ camping area he is helping build for local kids who cant aford to learn to ride a horse,fish,,atv ride. this will touch alot of lower income familys and getting kids into riding horses now mite keep them on the rite path. as for the resturaunt,,,,,,,,,im hungry, hurry up and open it!!! see u guys there

As they should be. Buncha' idjits were bound and determined to tie so much red tape around the whole thing, now they can sit back and watch this place take off and count the lost tax revenue and jobs.
I'm all for planned growth and reasonably healthy zoning regs, but this was a no-brainer letting that one slip away.

huge battlefield mall near one battlefield.p-ville needs decent place to eat..more tourists stopping and spending money..little gatlinburg...a motel near battlfield and a eatery...like other battlefields have..a eatery inside museum....near ..inside...tourist don't care about tons of grass.

more signs ..permaanent.bet zoning gets huge salaries ?? other people need signs etc to help their jobs,businesses keep going.taxpayers pay for zoning salaries.

I hope this place is successful we need a place where the people can go and relax and have a good meal and good entertainment. Also I hope it is where the older citizen can afford to attend on a lot of their limited income. The older citizen enjoys getting out just like the middle age and younger ones also.

Yeah Judy on mondays they are going to have senior night $2.00 for filet mignon, Tony Orando going to be the entertainer, there every monday. Tell Grandma!

It has not been TWO years its only been about 1 although i do agree that it has been kinda long for them to build it but i know that there were a few issues that they did not know would happen

-tha camp is mainly 4 handicap kids. no jus ne1.

I hope that eddie dont let it get like renos..you cant even take your kids there and eat like a family even through the week.. You got drunks falling around guys trying to get your # with your hubby sitting at the table whores dancing and carring on just stupid.....Yeah eddie we need a relaxing controled resturant that is family like.
