It's funny that a priest would be so radical as to attack Jehovah's Witnesses for no reason and then lie about it and that a Baptist who saw the whole thing rats out the priest. The priest bit off more than he could chew. Just think if each priest who ever physically abused someone got what they deserved? There wouldn't be enough hospitals to hold them all.

We are talking about tens of thousands of priests who have physically abused tens of thousands of people, mostly children, and most have never gotten anywhere near what they deserved for it, and that is not counting inquisitions, genocides and wars.

But, it is NOT funny.
I don't agree with what the priest did, but again, it is NOT funny in the least!

Jehovah will repay, and that includes the wicked JW's pedophiles to, you know that ones that have the truth and were shepherds of Gods flock. Do you know what I mean, or do you deny that any such things happened at all.

Or do you live in the amazon somewhere.

That is a strange story.

I'll wait and see what transpires if and when it ends up in court.

A Catholic priest with a 26 year old daughter?

It is a lions den there in FL, Tn. Know people living there. The SBC dont love thy neighbor down south. Its all money and show n tell preaching. Pastors got lazy and now have men and ladies speak for them.

Thing is guest speakers are the holiest on Sundays. These redneck jerks speak so loud that its more a yelling contest. Make sure you dont wear anything Jesus or use bumperstickers.

These local southern jerk so called churches tell ya if you aint born down here dont be calling yourself christian.

Here is another account of the story. Pretty obvious this priest is a liar!

It's a priest versus Jehovah's Witnesses after a FW altercation

by JIM DOUGLAS / WFAA

Posted on April 9, 2010 at 7:19 PM

FORT WORTH - It appears to be a battle of faiths after a priest of a small Catholic church and a Jehovah's Witness got into an altercation in Fort Worth.

The Jehovah's Witness has accused Father John Parnell, a priest at the St. Augustine Mexican Catholic Church in Fort Worth, of assaulting him after he knocked on Parnell's door. However, Parnell said it was he who was attacked.

"So, the man comes in and tells my daughter right off, he says,'You are going to be burned into the eternal fires of Gehenna if you don't listen to what I say,'" Parnell said.

The priest said that was the match that lit the fuse. He said he is tired of Jehovah's Witnesses coming into the St. Augustine church, which is not affiliated with the Fort Worth Diocese.

He said Jehovah's Witnesses came into the church on Easter Sunday during Mass.

"They walked right in and started handing out literature while people are sitting on the pews," Parnell said.

When Jehovah's Witnesses recently came to his door, Parnell said he attempted to escort them out after one of the men allegedly knocked his Bible to the floor.

"He said,'This place is teaching lies and I am here to bring you the truth,'" he said.

Parnell said the men then dragged him down the street and beat him.

However, according to a police report, Parnell is the suspect in the altercation.

"The next thing you know, there was a haymaker that came out of left field there and went down the side of his face," said Harry Dwinell, a witness, of allegedly seeing the priest hit the Jehovah's Witness.

Dwinell, who called police, said he saw the whole incident from the first punch.

Parnell was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and gave an officer his side of the story. He claims to have witnesses of his own.

WFAA was unable to contact the Jehovah's Witnesses involved in the incident.

What is so ironic is the priest is claiming the JW said his daughter would burn in the eternal flames of Gehenna....JW's do not teach eternal torment...they teach eternal destruction (away from the Almight Creator)....hell (place of concealment, common grave of men)....so we can see that the priest lied right off the bat....JW's are very peaceable and seek peace in everything they do. Also, JW's do not go into churches and hand out literature. That is another lie by the priest.

Don't believe everything you read or even hear.

There are two sides to the story, but only one truth. There are also people who pretend to be witnesses, and witnesses who pretend to be Christian.

Absolutely......only one truth. Just because someone goes to the Kingdom Hall or are associated with JW's does not make them a JW....it's a way of life 24/7.

Everything you say about priests is applicable to the satanic cult of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Though, if Jehovah's Witness pedophiles got what they deserved, we would not experience a shortage of hospitals.

We would experience a shortage of tombstones.

There's no wall built about Tennessee.

If you are not comfortable in the South, you should move away.

It's OK for you to go somewhere that fits your needs.

Don't let the door hit you, where the good Lord split you.

I agree.
This really is not a funny story.
In reality, it is quite sad and it is a good thing that there was a "third party" who witnessed this all happening.

There are many people who are studying with Jehovah's witnesses, and they are not witnesses.

When these go door to door, there is no telling what students will say or do, we just hope for the best.

One day I was with a young woman who was learning, and the householder spit at her, she stayed calm, but after she said, it's a good thing I am studying to become a witness, because I want to beat the hell out of her.

Talk about weird....one time, a sister and I went to a house in Florida. The man asked us to wait a minute, we thought maybe he wanted a magazine or two...instead he came back with a gun...told us to leave, and not walk in his yard....duh? We very politely, and gingerly left, and never went back.

ROTFL! Maybe he had a child that was molested by one of your elders or maybe his children joined the cult and he no longer sees them or maybe the cult tore his family apart! Who knows after all the JW are famous for all of the above!

I am not inclined to think there was any other reason for his animosity other than hatred of JW;s.

I think this whole story is a made up lie. I don't believe a priest attacked the JWs and I don't believe the JWs attacked the priest. It seems someone is just trying to get 15 minutes of fame.
