Johnny Depp, Tim Burton pour it on in 'Sweeney Todd'

The first time Tim Burton ever saw the play "Sweeney Todd," he was an art student living in London.

This screenplay is very dramatic- the acting scenes, and the music was very dramatic as well. I like Depp, and Carter's performences. They both have very nice voices that seem to match quite well to every scene they performed in. I have also seen another version of "Tale of Sweeny Todd"on regular T.V. which was quite different in terms of the movie plot, but I have never seen a horror movie made into a musical. I think everyone should at least get the soundtract, and judge for yourself!!!!

I think this production will prove to be the best of all time. All the acting, and singing was really hard core, and humorous as well. Some scenes are grotesque, and with dark humor mixed with delight. A mixture of drama, torture, and violent humor is what makes the film seem untouchable. Read the storyline about the vengful barber who goes on a killing rampage, singing as he goes along with a full orchestra as an accompiament. You will want to keep comming back for more tunes from this dark tale.

People, I don't bet with you! I like Tim Burton very much and his movies too. Particularly, his"Sleepy Hollow".It's my favourite movie. And I'm happy that every next eyar he creates new good movie where play different actors and which is always very interesting to watch. To be honestly, I LIKE "SWEENEY TODD" and I've bought yet it oh DVD, because I saw this musical when I was a child. And since that time I'd loved it. But I don't understand just one thing:
WHY Johnny Depp DON'T CARE ABOUT HIS FANS? You all watched TV and you knew that happens on that premier of movie. AND HIS SPEECH ABOUT HIS FEELINGS SEEMED AS LIE! It's my opinion!

Well, for Johnny Depp this movie is NOT INTERESTING AND IMPORTANT. It's just his next movie. That's it and nothing more, therefore he don't care about his fans and that woman too. BUT NOT FOR TIM BURTON. HE's really good man who pay attention to his movie and to people!!! He's thinking always about every jests, word of his heroes AND, FOR ME, IT'LL BE SUCH an honour to create movies with him future. O-O-O, HE'S ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE DIRECTOR, WHOM I'VE EVER SEEN!!! Dear Nadia, it's just you opinion about Johnny Depp..So..Different people have different opinion about things, people and etc. Yes, this his act speaks about his love to children, to concretly children but to all people who loves him. It was a Gesture of mercy. Each actor should show the mercy to the certain groups of the population. Then people will love more, strongly-you know-it can to raise a rating. But my words about him, his heart, his soul was direct not to negative attitude to his peeson- no- I just meaned that HE DIDN'T pay attention to his fans as more as they pay him!!!
And you, and me- we all are right about him in some parts of our opinion...

To be fair, non of us can judge Johnny because non of us know him. We can only go on what we see of him. Which is an incredibly small percentage of what he is actually like. But why think bad of him? Watch him closely. The way he speaks, the way he acts around fans and interviewers. You'll see that he is a very timid person and you can tell how nice a guy he actually is. It doesn't take a lot to see that. You can't say that someone doesn't have feelings. That's a very harsh thing to say. Especially about someone you don't even know! And Johnny is one person. His fans are in the thousands! So how is he expected to please everyone? Give him a break! And please, think about what you're about to type. He is a human being! Not a 'thing'.
