I was somewhat disappointed in the latest CD Promise. I have them all and in comparison this just doesn't do it for me. I can't even say what it is that doesn't work for me. I still play them all though and look forward to the next one.

The group is not so well known in the US - you don't hear their music played on the radio. They have a more international appeal so there may be more interest in Europe and Asia.

Do you notice that you never see anything about their personal lives on their web page or on blogs. Carlos'divorce made it into some media outlets and David's upcoming marriage to Joy, one of the musical group, The Three Graces, has also been reported. But Urs' baby girl with the Il Divo Groomer, Tania, and Seb's wife and twins, you never hear about or see photos of them. They have kept their private life "private".

Carlos keeps his family matters very close. I have heard some nasty things about his sister during the years she lived in the US. Lets just say she doesn't have much respect for the American court system.

i have a question, why did carlos marry her after all those years living together, then divorce her?
couldn't they both tell that their feelings changed from lovers,to just being close friends.

I'm sure the people that were disappointed in the Promise Album were having a very bad hair year. I had the great experience of seeing IL DIVO in Atlanta this July and was more than pleased with the performance. These guys are truly blessed. And we are blessed to hear them sing. Thanks guys for making a sad world a happier place.

I went ot my first IL DIVO show on July 2Oth in L.A. and had the time of my life!!! The guys are even more gorgeous in person and the power of their voices both together and separately is something to behold. I think in their case, international appeal outweighs US radio play ten fold. From every thing that I've heard and seen, the guys are very nice when you meet them in pwerson. While they have beautiful voices and model good looks, I think the most important thing's that they have good hearts. All of the work they do for charity, that alone makes them admirable. On the Carlos and Geraldine front, the most important thing is that they're happy, whether that's if they are together or apart. You don't have to be together to be happy and I think it's great that they've remained friends despite going their separate ways. So many divorces end acrimoniously, it's always good to see one that ends on good terms. And who knows, they just might get back together. Bear this in mind, we never realy know what goes on between a couple behind closed doors.

I think it's a privledge to get news about their private lives. I think that we in the public think we feel entitled to know every bit of info of celebrities' private lives. That's probably because we live in a worl that in some ways, TMZ , entertainment tonight and other entertainment gossip outlets inudate us with sensationalized storieds of the private affairs of stars. I think the guys have every right to keep what they want to keep private private and share what they want with fans. Some of the fans on ildivo.com say that when you ask about Seb's twins, he just lights up and a couple of fans even ran into Urs and his family at a beach in Carmel, Ca a few weeks ago and got to talk to them. The bottom line is with the life they lead, the members of IL DIVO have every right to have as many pieces of normalcy as they can carve out for themselves.

Il Divo at the Coliseum is the most fantastic thing I have ever heard. I have bought several cd,s and given them to many friends.
I watch it several times a week and always get chills when I watch Carlos.
If I was wealthy I would "rent" him for a week just to watch him sing.
I love to watch and listen to all 3 of them but, oh Carlos, you have won my heart.

I flew to Salt Lake City to hear them and the show was fantastic. Their new stage affords more people the ability to see them up close. At the concerts end we were allowed to stand at the edge of the stage and shake hands and get autographs.

Their just released album has both a CD and DVD which you can buy on their web site and at Amazon. It is their recent concert filmed in Barcelona early in the year. Be sure to get the correct version for your country.
For anyone who attends the Christmas concert on the East Coast, please share your thoughts.

I saw IL Divo for the 2nd time last night, they were fantastic as usual, but an added bonus was to see Sebastian's wife and twins there, his love for them was so obvious, he didnt take his eyes off them, and was so proud he introduced them all with a spot light, it was just so beautiful to see the love and pride he had for his family. :)

My son and daughter in law bought 4 tickets at Christmas. They gave me mine in a Christmas card I didn't have my glasses on, so I asked what's this to? My son said an Il Divo concert. I started to cry. I couldn't believe it. I never thought I'd get to see them live. I have their DVDs and love them so much. We went to the concert Wed. June 20th at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Tex. Drove there from N.E. Louisiana. What a wonderful show. Even my 6 year old grandson loved it. After each song he'd stand up and raise his arms high and clap as loud as he could. It was a dream come true for me. I think I may have converted my son and dughter in law to classical pop music. I had the time of my life. Hope I get to see them again one day. They're the greatest musical group around.

We were given tickets for my birthday from the kids for the Brisbane show and got to meet them afterwards too. What thorough gentleman. I absolutely adore them all. My photo with them has pride of place in my house. Just wish I could afford tickets to see them again.
