Amy is so sweet, so very real and *bright*~!
Look at the construction of Her thought about the overwhelming quantity of TV news: "nothing is given the appropriate amount of reaction time. That's weird to me. It's like the dehumanization of mankind."
I'm impressed that She captures the essence as human 'comprehension' of what has occurred.
and about Her sense of simplicity of life, and devotion to family: "Hey, we're just going to stay home tonight (the Christmas season)and enjoy each other."
And about Her commitment to excellence in Her work: "we're going to maximize this night."

David, thanks for this Q&A. I have long thought that she had quite the cache of songs, a few gems to go with some more pedestrian tunes. However, I was at her show with the ISO and found myself liking it. A lot. She was quite funny and witty--yes, more than I expected--and a great entertainer. She has that showmanship that's rare, and a genuine quality about her. I just felt lifted, within and without, after the performance. I've been to a lot of shows and can't say that I've felt that often. Thanks again.

So you guys think that Amy is all real, and has no false settings contained within? She informed her first husband to whom her devotion wasn't true,
she loved another man, that occurred in November of 1994. We don't need to guess who the other man was or is, now do we! She stayed married to Gary for another 5 years, was Gary receiving true love from Amy those last 5 years? How could he? Amy made it clear to him, and 5 years later filed for divorce. food for thought guys
