Dear Ray Boltz,
I Do Hope By All Means You Some how Read This Message.I Am Sadden To Hear That YOU HAVE BECOME GAY!! THE BIBLE CLEARLY SPEAKS AGAINST HOMOSEXUALLITY. DO NOT BECOME VICTIM TO SATANS LIES AND DESTRUCTION!!! Think About The Songs You Sang About CHRIST AND WHAT HE DID FOR US!!!! Your Song 'WHO NAILED HIM THERE' Well MY FRIEND RIGHT NOW YOU DID!!! THE SIN YOU ARE LIVING CHRIST DIED FOR YOU!!!! I PRAY That You Will Go Back To Your Wife And MAKE IT RIGHT THE WAY GOD INTENDED IT TO BE.... Learning That You Have Decided That You Are Gay Is EXTREMELY SADDENING To All Of Us Who Listened To Your Music. READ WHAT GOD'S WORD SAYS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALS. I have listened to and sung your music for years and am deeply saddened to hear that you have decided to embrace the homosexual lifestyle.

You have been such a wonderful Christian musician and have touched so many lives--Satan has never allowed us to rest when we make our lives available to Christ.

The Scripture clearly speaks against this sin and it goes against a lot of His teachings. We all fall short of His glory and stumble.

The most important thing to remember is that He always forgives His children no matter what the sin. You know in your Heart of Hearts that God hates all sin and sin is not bade by Him.

Ray--I do not know you personally; however, your heart has been in your music--just remember that Satan can make us hate ourselves for all kinds of reasons, but God only sees the blood of Christ covering them when we confess those sins.

My prayers are with you

Love in Christ,

All I can say it is heartbreaking to hear about Ray Boltz. You are doing what you and satan want. I have to tell you there is no Homosexual gene. I have been reading the bible all the way through and have found this lifestyle is a sin against God. All through the bible from Genesis to Revelations. I have marked many passages. Just read the bible for yourself and you will find the scriptures.

You can justify this feeling of being a homosexual all you want but in the end you know what God says is true. You will never be at peace with yourself. I am so sorry for you. I too have loved and sang your songs. I am so hurt and sickened. Homosexuality is discusting. That is why God says it is an abomonination. It makes Him sick too. JUDGEMENT DAY WILL COME. To know the truth and do it not. Ray , you know the truth.

Ray has an amazing voice and he can lead more people to know God through that voice in one year than most of us "common" people could in a lifetime. This is the kind of person the devil wants to STOP! Just because he was this famous, untouchable star does not mean that the devil will leave him alone. Look at Michael English. He had everything and the devil took it away from him. I am a Christian and I know how hard it is to stay on the right path. We all stumble and we all fall and we all come short but we dust ourselves off, Repent and press on. In my opinion, if the Bible says homosexualality is a sin, then God does not make someone gay. It is a choice. Ray...we will pray for you and believe that God will see you through your struggles and bring you back to the Christian music world again soon...just as he has Michael English.

What saddens me the most is the condemnation I see here. Who are any of you to judge anyone else? It does not amaze me that the one's who call themselves "christian" would be the first to do exactly the opposite of "Christ." I am a Christ follower, and I stand beside my brother in Christ and support his honesty and his integrity to be "who God created him to be."
I love you brother and arch no arrows your way, only love and accceptance in the Christ I walk with... His name is Jesus and I love you and embrace you!
Sincerely,

"I 2 was a fan of Ray Boltz. I had seen him in many concerts and had even practiced singing his songs. I cannot begin to believe that after all these years HE FEELS HE IS GAY!!! It makes no sense to me. How can a man of GOD,whom clearly THE HOLY SPIRIT had dwelled in be GAY!!! He of all christain people clearly KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS GODS WORD!!!! I do not believe anywhere in GODS word does it state the GOD intended for people of the same sex to be together. I mean come on first thing in the BIBLE GOD states that he indeed did CREATE a MAN and a WOMAN!!! HELLO PEOPLE!!!! GOD does NOT STAND for this LIFESTYLE!!!!! You can not continue to be serving our LORD JESUS CHRIST and state that you are going to live a GAY LIFESTYLE!!!! Step out of the public and into your bedroom and on your KNEES MR.BOLTZ and SEEK GODS WORD!!!! SEEK HIS FORGIVENESS!!!! You know the truth You sang about it!!!! Give me a break YOU ARE NOT BORN GAY!!!! GOD didn't make MISTAKES!!!! MAN MAKES MISTAKES though and yet GODS GRACE is so wonderful that he FORGIVES US!!!! YOU MY BROTHER NEED TO SEEK GODS FORGIVENESS and GET OUT OF THAT CHURCH that is CLEARLY not a CHURCH of GOD!!!! Sorry to hear of this A.K in ERIE PA"

Just a side note, I agree with everything you said, with the exception of "...a man of GOD,whom clearly THE HOLY SPIRIT had dwelled in be GAY!!! He of all christain people clearly KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS GODS WORD!!"

First of all, the Holy Spirit will only point to the Word. The Word and the Spirit go together like socks and shoes. They are one, as the Bible states.

Point being: A man [or woman] claiming to have the Holy Spirit, but then deny ANY Word of God, has another spirit in them...and it's definitely not the Holy Spirit.

That being said, Mr. Boltz has deceived many...and all under the banner of Christianity. It makes us sick to our stomachs. I too have been a Boltz fan, and our congregation has sung his songs, and we most likely will continue to, but this lifestyle is not according to the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit never abides with a denier of it.

If this is true, the Bible tells us not to judge others but we are to judge their actions. If Ray Boltz chooses to live in sin and disobey God, then he shows that he does not love God for the Bible says that if we love Him, we will obey Him. Having said that, I will be deeply saddened to learn that Ray Boltz is gay. Romans tells us that homosexuality is a punishment for an ungodly nation. How ungodly has this nation become when our pastors and those Christians that we look up to are so easily misled. Ray Boltz needs our prayer but we need to pray for ourselves as well.

I think you need to reread your Bible. Scripture is full of "judgements". Jesus called people hypocrites, murderers, liars, dogs, pigs, children of the devil, clueless, etc. Jesus exen condemned the Pharisees for NOT exercising judgements.

Paul told the Corinthian church to excommunicate the one in their church that was having sex with his step-mother. Paul rebuked those who were taking the Lord's Super in vain. There was Alexander the Coppersmith, Diotrophese, Demas, etc. Paul compared false teachers to animals that were created solely to be destroyed.

We are told to beware the dogs, beware false teachers, false brethren, and preach to the lost. How are we to preach to the lost unless we make a judgement call that they are lost and need to hear the Gospel?

Judgement is repleat throughout both the Old and New Testaments.

I think it is you who needs to be more Christlike and exercise judgement.

Scripture NEVER divorced one's behavior from the person. That's a product of out Politically correct mindset. We are never told not to judge another. However we are told to judge them in accordance to qualifying criteria. We are not to judge them for a specific sin if we are in the same sin. We are told not to judge them if we cannot hold ourselves to the same standard (the standard is NOT perfection). And we are told not to judge them as if they have no hope, or beyond Christ's redemption. ther than this we are commanded to exercise judgement in order to keep Christ's body pure, Holy, and without leaven.

That's exactly right.

I John 4:1-4 (KJV)

1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try [judge, or test] the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 We are of God, little children, and have overcome them: for greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world."

I do beleive that we should not judge someone else WITHIN OUR OWN HUMAN ABILITIES. But when we are dead to ourselves and alive in Christ, we have His Spirit in us, allowing us to judge, and try other spirits, etc.

This is what the carnal Christian can't understand. They're walking after the flesh. But there are still a few (thank God) who walk after the Spirit.

I loved Ray's song 'Thank You'- it's so beautiful!
It really saddened me to learn he had decided to THROW OUT the verses in his Bible about homosexualty being an abomination in God's Eyes.
Despite this, God still loves Ray regardless. Jesus is waiting for Ray to return to Him with open arms.
That's the beauty of God and His LOVE for us - we repent and He brings us back into His Arms - the lost sheep was found.
Let's keep Ray in our prayers - as well as other Christian Artists who have wandered away from "The God Of Their Fathers".
Peace,

I'm listening to Ray's new album, True, right now. It is wonderful and refreshing. It speaks out loud what many gay christians have in their hearts. Whether you believe being gay is a sin or not; judging someone else is a sin. Take the beam out of your own eye before trying to remove a splinter from another person's eye.

Ray,

I love your songs/music. You are being true to yourself. What makes me sad is the judgemental people. Know that you have the support of so many!
