Turk in the USA, I can tell from your tone that you have no interest in acknowledging the consequences of the 1915 Genocide of Armenians perpetrated by the young Turks. Not just the killing but the psychological , spiritual, emotional and material consequences that this has provoked in the lives of Armenians in specific, and the humane world in general. We are obsessed not in hating turks, but in finding an existential answer to the crime that the 'highly civilized' and powerful Ottoman Empire dealt to our humble but freedom loving people.
Now our humbleness of centuries, were we lived subject to Ottoman rule, has turned to anger. In the 21st century one is able to place this anger on the internet.
I would consider it a great act of wisdom and diplomatic maturity on the part of Turkey and Azerbaijan,to give in to some of the Armenian claims, and put an end to hostilities between a deeply related people. What purpose could it possibly serve to insult an already insulted people. While if the matter gets solved with the dignity that it deserves, Turkey would have initiated healing and the beginning of a new understanding in between the new generations would begin.

Sure, the reality of politics on a broader level prohibits the oiling of these very rusty hinges of a much damaged relationship, in real need of oiling.Sure Turkey is strong, and Armenia in a new process of Nation building. But believe you me, the generations will not forget this pain in our souls caused by the bullying you are dishing out by your denial, and have dished out in the past with ethnic cleansing . Unless some level of adequate healing happens the wound will keep bleeding from both sides.

If you are this great new nation of trillion economy, show the world that you have learnt as a great nation to behave with dignity.Apologize to Armenians and let this wound heal. I say.
