No, I sincerely believe there are those out there who are born liking both genders. I also believe though that many closeted gay people who are confused identify as bisexual or use it as a stepping stone in coming out.

I agree with you too. I think many straight men are bisexual to some degree. Every man likes his own genitals so it's not too hard to believe that he would admire another man's. But a true homosexual however; I believe that the majority of homosexual men are exclusively homosexual and have no desire for the opposite sex. I don't know whether this would apply to women, most likely though.

Totally agree. And Kinsey really has never been shot down or proven false, so Im guessing its quite true, along with numerous other studies that show the same thing.

I was bi-curious and since in all honesty I did like to give head to a guy I could safely assume that bi-curiosity turned into bi-sexuality. However, I disagree with those who assume it means I'm a gay in denial because I still prefer girls and I wouldn't want to kiss a boy or have anal with him. That's just disgusting to me. And I love to kiss girls or give oral to them.

The scale seems to imply that 100% heterosexuality doesn't exist but that 100% homosexuality does.
I would rather think that it is somewhere in between.

Thats excatly what the Kinsey thing is. Its like, Im open to having sex with a guy but I prefer girls and vise versa for gay men. That would make you a 2 or so on the scale. The srict dogmatic view on sexuality in this country until lately is in 100% contrast to what human nature is. Most humans arent 100% either straight or gay.

Remember, Kinsey's work was about SEX! I think we need to move SOME Of the focus of research away from just the sexual act and shine the light on love-bonds between couples.

I guarantee, if 1000% straight guy put his d&%k thru a glory hole - and didn't know the sex of the person on the other side - he would or%$#m. If there was a man on the other side - would that make the str8 guy gay? Of course not.

My point is this - the more we focus on the sexual act the more society will belive that gays (and to some extent, bisexuals) are just sex-crazed maniacs. We are FAR from that.

I worry about reports and studies on bisexuality as they validate the sterotype and perception that being gay is about choice - because all the study work is focuse on sex.

My ability to love and bond with someone is NOT based on genetalia. It's genetic.
