Apparently he is going for the top. He has publicly announced that he is going to give Michael Buble some competition...Buble is the only active singer in his genre...he needs some contenders...monopolies are illegal!!

What do you think?

James in incredible! He has the appearance, voice, professionalism, and showmanship for a young and inspiring singer! He not only takes over the audience, but he shocks the audience with his baratone deep voice. The women love him! He has a hell of a future. I have never seen anyone like him before and probably will never seen anyone like him again. I hope he comes to this area again.

James De Frances is the best 21 year old baritone big band singer I have ever heard. When Sinatra was 21 in 1936 his career was just beginning and he was singing with the Hoboken Four on the Major Bowes Amateur Radio Hour. Frank's voice was significantly higher pitched than many of his later recordings...with that being said James seems to have the lower range that Sinatra lacked at that age...which is incredible. Rumor has it that he is working with some big time producers in Hollywood and has a lot in store for us musically in 2011...let's hope this is true. DeFrances sure knows how to sing a song.

I saw this guy at Vitellos in CA a few days ago! I don't know what everyone is raving about? I give him credit for what he is doing or trying to do,however,I couldn't make heads or tails of what he was singing.

This kid has the coolest hair piece I have ever seen. As for anything else...not sure what all the fuss is about! I saw him in New York with a small band ( piano, bass, drums). He sings out of tune...he trys though..so that's a plus!

One of the best vocalists I've heard in the longest time. Heard him sing at Rock N Reilly's pub in West Hollywood California a month ago and was blown away with "My Way"! Had the entire bar of 200+ people going nuts.

This guy appears to be living in a dream world..out of tune...out of time...out of luck...sort of reminds me of a used car salesman.

This guy reminds me of some kind of "caricature" of what everyone thinks a comedy lounge singer would be.. Not sure if he is serous or not. I caught his act on the LA Strip. Very Jerry Lewis like. Karaoke "Wanna Be".

I heard this guy in LA last weekend! He tries to sound like Sinatra! He doesn't! He tries to talk and use artistic phrasing like Sinatra! He doesn't! Bottom line...this guy tries and tries but he is not hitting the mark!

James has got the greatest hairpiece I have ever seen! It almost looks real. I hope he comes and sings at "Lee's Hoagie Emporium" soon,
