Just saw them last night, FANTASTIC SHOW! 3 HOURS LONG. Glen Frey's voice sounded great, better than it has in 10 years. Bernie Leadon adds a wonderful baritone vocals to all early eagles hits and Don Henley nails every note.
Joe Walsh continues to add a level of excitement to all of Their shows and he looks and sounds fantastic. Timothy B Schmit can still hit all the high notes and his love ballads get all the Women on their feet.
A few disappointments, nothing from The Long Road out of Eden and one of my favorites After the Thrill is Gone did not make the song list , this time. But with time constraints and so many choices not everything can be played.
With a touch of class Glen Frey mentions Randy Meisner's contributions to the band and wishes him a full recovery. Randy's voice, Bass guitar and song writing skills helped the band in the early years and brought us classics like Take it to the Limit, Midnight Flyer, Saturday Night, and Try and Love again as well as backing Vocals that still bring amazement after all these years.
