There are 9 comments on the Chicago Tribune story from Jun 26, 2009, titled Johnny Depp: An outlaw outlook. In it, Chicago Tribune reports that:

Johnny Depp has fond memories of his first machine gun. He was just a kid growing up in Owensboro, Ky., but somewhere around age 5 or 6, he began shooting .22s, then moved on to .38s, .44s and .45s. And then he got his hands on a relative's Thompson machine gun.

He lost me when he claimed that J. Edgar was more violent than the criminals he chased.

There was nothing noble about people going blind or dying from drinking the rot-gut that was often sold as booze. There was nothing noble about people losing their businesses or being murdered because they refused to dance the mob's tune. There was nothing good about robbing the few solvent banks left and stealing the few puny assets left people.

But Depp can be excused, parcequ'il est un artist! Merde!

Hoover was a bum, believe that. Don't revise history you don't even know about, champ. And Johnnie, he's so lovely, a rare specie of Man-child, so precious, so divine. Yes, Michael is dead, and records just keep on spinning...!

This article was horribly written.
"Sui generis"? "Idiosyncratic metaphorical path"? Please put down the thesaurus and learn to write.
