Gay and Lesbian Critics Name British Drama 'Weekend' Best Film of the Year
Andrew Haigh 's Weekend , a British film about the relationship that develops between two men during the course of a brief hook-up, has been named both best film of the year and best LGBT film of the year by the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association.

Amazing. This was an average film at best; mediocre, even. It was long and slow with sloppy direction and lackluster cinematography. When this is the best our community can offer during a year, the choice should be made not to name a "Best Film" for that year.
