Yes, bill Robert Conrad is the man...But since he had that DUI ...car wreck...that came close to taking his life. I would like to see someone call him on his radio show and ask him about that. It is my understanding that he drinking again. I guess considering he can't get around much anymore due to that wreck that he has just given up. I'd thought his ego wouldn't have let him allow himself to just fade away and thus he'd gave it his all to get back in fighting shape. But he has no real use of his arm and leg from what I am told. Oh well, he was good in his day.

Whatever respect I once had for Conrad is sadly long gone. We don't do these public figures any favors by looking up to behavior patterns that the average person would most certainly be called out for. It's one thing to hurt yourself, but when you injure other people it's really a terrible thing.

I loved the WILD WILD WEST and have always been a fan. He is a childhood hero and an icon of TV. We are all human, folks. But, this man has done things and been an inspiration to us for decades! I really love ROBERT CONRAD. I am now a film maker and my fight scenes and heroes will always be influenced by him.

All you WWW West fans - read the new biography about Dr. Loveless! It is titled The Big Life of a Little Man, Michael Dunn Remembered, and is getting some great reviews! Google the title to find out more about it.

FYI - Conrad doesn't drink and hasn't had a drink since that tragic accident. Way to start rumors, though. Nothing better to do than trash talk people who've made mistakes and paid their dues? Wow. Pathetic.

I'm glad the other driver wasn't hurt as bad as Mr. Conrad. However, I hope Mr. Conrad hangs in there. When I was a little boy, the WILD WILD WEST tune always got my attention...along with the beginning cartoon format of the show. When I got older, I hardly ever missed an episode even though the episodes were all reruns by then. I just finished watching a mini series called, CENTENNIAL. It was made back in the middle 1970's and stared Robert Conrad along with some other good actors such as Richard Chamberlain, etc...

I met Robert Conrad last night when I was sitting in a lounge having a glass of wine. We ended up chatting and I didn't realize until an hour later who he was. Bobby was sweet and funny and charming. He is gorgeous...STILL. And no, after three hours with him, all he had was orange juice and Perrier.
He is in incredible pain on a daily basis and although we didn't discuss this accident directly, it was clear how mentally anguished he is over it.
One of the things that impressed me is how kind he is. He had nothing but nice things to say about everyone he worked with and those he was friends with over the years. Just a sweetheart. And couldn't have been more entertaining. I plan on listening to his thursday night radio shows
No one should throw stones.
