<quoted text>It appears that elections do have consequences, or Karma. The highest number of new jobless claims is in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Enjoy.
During the campaign Ohio Governor Kasich AND Echy, both said that Kasich was responsible for the Ohio unemployment numbers. Not Obama.

Maybe you should ask Kasich why jobless claims are rising in HIS state.

Report back here when you have an answer.

Oh, and by the way, the numbers you are referring to are for the week ending November 3rd, the week BEFORE the election.

Now, you were saying what???

It appears that attempting to draw such specious conclusions may be an exercise in futility.
The three states with the highest declines in new unemployment claims for that same week were California, New York, and Florida.
Aren't facts fun???

Yes, seasonal and disaster relief. What is your point.

My point is that your point is completely irrelevant, especially given the fact that the numbers are for the week prior to the election.

... and, oh goody, four more years of a weak economy, high unemployment, stagnation, inflation, high energy prices, failing national security, rising health care costs, record welfare recipients, cover-ups, etc., ad infinitum.

ya....sigh..... I really do miss the strong vibrant economy under the GW Baffoon misadministration. Mitt the Twitt and his Repukelican economic policy would have restored that economic utopia in a nano-second. Right after he declared war on Iran. ROTFALMFAO!!

The point was and still is the numbers were hidden until after the election. Obama's modus operandi is consistent if nothing else.

You should miss it. It was much more vibrant except for the last 15 months. Obama's economies have been stagnant since his election and he has no clue how to fix it. His whole plan is to redistribute wealth as all communist leaders promise the weak, until they bite the apple and it is taken away.

Do you have any understanding where those numbers come from, and how often?

Obviously not.

I know that before the election everything was improving, and after the election all the unemployment numbers went up in Ohio and Pennsylvania. If you have any clue, you would know the unemployment numbers released by the Obama administration always have to be corrected, upward. Then of course there is the case of leaving out certain state numbers to reach the 7.8% that was never corrected after the real numbers were added.

Obviously, you are a graduate (with honors) of the Karl Rove / Dick Morris School of Elementary Arithmetic.

Etchy went to that school as well.

If you have any clue you'd understand where the numbers come from, how they are arrived at, and how, why, and when they are revised.

You don't.

Forget Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. The most exciting matchup of the night was between Karl Rove and his employer, Fox News.
A little after 11 p.m., Fox News and every other news outlet called the presidential race for Obama. Rove, the mastermind of George W. Bush's campaign and now a political commentator on Fox, didn't buy it.
Around 11:30 Tuesday night, moments after his own Fox News Channel declared Barack Obama had been re-elected, Fox News analyst Karl Rove stomped his feet and said no, no, no, itís not over. It canít be.
Why? According to Rove, who appeared to be going through extreme denial that Mitt Romney had lost, there were too many outstanding votes in Ohio to give the state to Obama, tipping the race in his favor.
No one else at Fox took his side.
While the crowd in Chicago cheered and danced on the split screen, there was Rove, saying that all the votes in Ohio's Hamilton County needed to be cast. The projection, he said, was a "very early call."
Fox News Channel had actually delayed making that announcement itself. At 11:15, when MSNBCís hosts were announcing and celebrating Obamaís re-election, Fox News was still insisting Obama had only 244 electoral votes, 26 short of re-election.
Rannity cried himself to sleep.
Poor teabaggers.
I should feel sorry for your ignorance although I realize you chose your path? Rove was right, Ohio did go to Romney (the vote count was a lie as was the repeat, dead and unregistered Democrat voters in that state, not to mention the military votes that got conveniently lost in the mail ), though you'll never concede to it? Also, Hannity is not affiliated with the "Tea Party" though he should be. Rest assured when all is said and done with this vile president you support, you'll be singing a different tune?
