The GOP's worst 'cliff' myth

There are 204 comments on the The Washington Post story from Dec 24, 2012, titled The GOP's worst 'cliff' myth. In it, The Washington Post reports that:

Perhaps the oddest of the conservative rationalizations for refusing any kind of budget compromise is the insistence that budget deals are pointless - and maybe even counterproductive - because Democrats rig them such that the taxes are real and spending cuts are illusory.

Lemme get my liberal calculator out.
Oblamer promise on healthcare;
"My health spending plan will lower your premiums $2,500 hundred dollars per year,per family."
Starting Jan. 1st my contribution will increase just over $120.oo dollars a month,and,my co-pays and deductibles will double.
Lets see,,,carry the one,minus the addition sign and wallah!
Free healthcare is already paying off.
No one passed a "free healthcare" bill any time recently, no idea what you're talking about. And without evidence or support for your claims, it's impossible to know if you're telling the truth.

And the word is "voila!", not "wallah."

My rates increased just like they have every year since I've had insurance. I can remember only a few times back in the early 80's that it didn't increase each year. It has nothing to do with the new health care law. My co-pays stayed the same and my prescription costs remained the same. If your being asked to pay more, its a cost savings for your employer. They keep the same plans but you pay in more and they pay less.
More myths from the right wingers. Don't they realize the scare tactics and fear mongering are the reason the Repugs keep losing elections? Your strategy is a losing one..lol.
Really. In the '90s, at my former employer, we went from having a choice of at least 3 healthcare plans, all of which cost us relatively little, to having one which cost quite a lot and covered a lot less. The company wasn't that large, and were having their consultants come back every year with a bigger and bigger bill or a choice of less and less coverage.

No Obamacare to blame back then! Guess it was nobody's fault, huh?:)

Yes, that was a very good description of his post. And of your own, for that matter.

"Worthless" = constant spam, silly insults, and irrelevant cut-and-pastes

IOW, Jimbo.:)
