That's 62 he was a director for Unforgiven, not 52. Gran Torino looks great to us Clint fans from the old days. My favorite is Kelly's Heroes. He hated making it but some of us just can't help it. That film rocks from the get-go. See it and enjoy the ensemble cast.

Oh Please! Illegal Immigrants good. Gringos Bad! Pathetic Gay Hollywood brain washing. This time Clint Eastwood sold his soul to the devil just so he could be liked by the Hollywood elite. I stopped going to Movies in the 1980's and an proud of it. Sc**w Hollywood and all their cocaine soaked writers, directors, producers and actors.

Mr Beale had done a great job here but I want to add a name he either overlook or had forgotten about.

Warren Beatty.

Wow! What talent.

Starting off with an academy award role in SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS directed by Elia Kazan, no less, to MICKY ONE, to
BONNIE AND CLYDE.

Then produced and wrote the devilishly charming SHAMPOO
And finally, the epic REDS which he also directed and won
an academy award for it.

My wish list for 2009 is that Mr Beatty would look into filming
HUMORESQUE, starring Matt Damon and Beatty's own wife
as Mrs Wright with of course Mr Beatty playing the weak husband. Utilizing the enormous talent of violinist Joshua Bell.
What a movie that would make, sweeping all awards in 2010.

Anyway, that's my dream.

I'm sure that there are other great performers Mr Beale couldn't cover in his column but Mr Beatty should not be overlooked.
