Gran Torino

There are 2 comments on the Now Toronto story from Jun 11, 2009, titled Gran Torino. In it, Now Toronto reports that:

In the same way that Clint Eastwood's 1992 classic, Unforgiven, echoed the spaghetti westerns that launched his career without actually imitating or referring to them, Gran Turino echoes Eastwood's other great popular hit, Dirty Harry.

I disagree. I think the movie that most reflected his old Dirty Harry films was the 2002 movie Bloodwork. Gran Tarino was just a great film on its own. As for Unforgiven, I think that was a greay way for Clint to say goodbye to the Western genre which made him famous.
