Just another poor excuse of someone who believes they are strong and black...Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be black, and this is just another case of that...

Just the fact that this once homeless man can now donate $1M to an organization that advocates for African Americans, is something to be thankful about. Im certain that if you were in the position to do so your opinion would be different, or perhaps you would not give to a black organization because your ashamed to be apart of a great nation of builders. You have the mind of an immature 15 year old. If you implying that Tyler Perry is gay. So fkking what? He's a successful Black man who followed his dream. Did you see his profile on 60 Minutes? Probably not, you were probably too busy watching cartoons.

Can't understand why people are harping on Perry for actually donating to the NAACP. Though they have had imperfect periods over the years, itz not like he is giving the money to the Black Panthers, the KKK (lol) or someone like that.

He should have been discreet. It makes him look like a show off. He could have atleast donated it to inner city schools.

Let's not erect statues in his honor.

His movies while entertaining....are reinforcing stereotypes of the Black community.

This is what pisses me off with our people....we defeat the purpose of everything we do.

Donate a million dollars...reinforce stereotypes in movies.

Celebrate MLK but spit all over him at the same time with our ignorance.
