You're preching to the choir there Jessica. Way to include your own personal politics in a Graduation Speech.

Personal politics? The whole country is going down the toilet and both parties are to blame. It's not personal -- it's national and international. Our poor children have a huge mess to clean up. Thank you, Jessica for telling it like it is.

she's really, subconsiously, upset over her terrible facelift (check out recent photos), and fact hollywood dumps women over age 30----but no old bag in hollywood ever bad-mouths young, liberal, hollywood, it's always conservative politicians.

The commencement address should not be to bash or praise a politician. The speech should be to encourage students to contribute to society and not to be a detriment. Jessica's speech as reported here did not offer even an opposing approach worthy of anyone's ears.

Shame on Jessica, she should do her homework before she speaks to students. If she did she would not leave out the fact that President Clinton was the biggest fraud we ever had in office not to mention his partner in crime better known as Hillary. As for being from Minnesota I just as soon no one knew where she came from.

More soldiers died in the Bosnian fracas than Iraq but we didn't hear about that every single day... wonder if it had anything to do with having a Democratic president in office....

Ah yes, all of the cons come out of the woodwork to cry that she didnít mention Clinton.

Because Liberals are the source of all bad things in the world, right?? That is why during his 2 terms in office the numbers of Americans on welfare where at their lowest point ever? Hmmm, because instead of seeing what is wrong with America today and on a go-forward basis, the cons would rather spend their time crying about Clinton and all of his atrocities.

I still say good for her, there should be more people like this in the world.. For or against the war they should all speak their mind and never give in to intimidation from their peers!

Glad to see that her comments were in the "Entertainment" section, rather than where serious news is supposed to be printed.

Considering her being indoctrinated by the ignorant Hollywood elitists, I would expect little else than an anti-American message. I wonder how this fares with her former Blue Angels and career Navy pilot first cousins she grew up with. Oh, Jessie, get a clue will ya!

Perhaps it was her intention to (1) show an example of our highest politician being a detriment and (2) to motivate the graduates to step up to change the course of this country. Your right about the speech needs to encourage the graduates to contribute to society, but I'm not aware of any good commencement speech that doesn't point out challenges that the graduates will need to face.
