Agree with you Oxana.She is very talented and gifted actress but was never given much chance.

This is the only Actress for me whom I don't associate with Her Characters, even with Dana Scully whom I just adore. They all are different people. Her every character is a living and breathing person, so when watching a film I perceive a caracter as a real person, and forget that this is Gillian playing her. But a bit later I watch the same very film but with some other purpose - now to enjoy and admire Gillian's play. And at this point I deliberately assume that this is Gillian. All of her characters are different but they have something in common: they are how Gillian sees them (and a script is just a skeleton).

And I also agree with you, Real: Gillian should be given better opportunities.But She makes any film worth seeing.
I Believe She will get Oscar 2009 for Her role of Dana Scully.
But most of all I like when Gilly is herself

Couldn't agree with you more Oxana.Some people liked her Scully character more and try to see that in her personally but i loved Gillian more. Her character was inspirational but she is even more.

On our Russian site Vkontakte (= in contact)there are a lot of groups-communities dedicated to TXF, TXF:IWTB, Californication and so on. There are also several groups for Gillian Anderson's fans and some of them for Dana Scully's ones.
In Scully's group - everything is only about Scully, and for members of that group She's a real person.
And in Gillian's group - everything about her + all about her other Characters except Scully.
But in both groups you can see the same faces.
But still for Scully there is a separate group.

All of Gillian's characters are like alive, but Scully Is alive. And when the series:) ended she went on living
