Why does Chris Hewett HATE every movie with a budget of more than $500?

Because it is a Job Discription requirement, to be ultra left, limp wristed, independent film craving, social message promoting, crosseyed, nose picking, germ ridden, little yard monkey.

Sequels often aren't as good as the original movie but I like the first two movies so if this is only half as good it'll still be fine as mindless entertainment.

Besides I won't see it until it comes out on DVD and I have it sent to me by Netflix anyway.

Yeah I had that word filtered out of one of my recent posts as well. I still can't see the logic behind it.

And did anyone notice that CH has Peter jackson down as director of "Lord of the Flies" instead of "lord of the Rings"?

Maria Bello should never accept rachel's role, she is not good enough, besides the plo is so stupid

Peter Jackson directed the Lord of the Rings not the Lord of the Flies

I agree with this review, this movie is nothing but a joke and the cast of actors is rediculous. I still can't believe how Horrible Bello was

I have to say that this review was dead on!
Its truly an AWEFUL film!
The direction was just terrible - no coherent plot, crappy jerky photography all of the time that was too close in too see the action, bizare monsters (Yetti..!?), terrible score, terrible casting of Bello (can you imagine Evey being channeled by the Stepford wives..!? She was THAT bad!), couldn't act to save her life, and had one of the worst English accents I've ever heard! Luke Ford..!? Imagine a bay-watch life-guard, and you get the idea...!
They even got two of the best martial artists in the world and managed to do 2nd rate (at best!) fight scenes!
If you see the Forbidden Kingdom (or most of Jet-Lis films!) or Crouching Tiger, then you know just what these two are capable of!
One of the worst films Ive ever seen, I even found myself looking away in pain..
Things havent got this bad since Matrix Revolutions..!
They should have spent 1/3rd of the money from SFX scenes on a much better script writer, a decent director, a top notch martial arts choreographer and on convincing Rachael Wees to come back..!
(oh and a photographer who did'nt have Parkinson's disease!)
A truly abysmal film!!!
Phew! I feel much better now!

Be-hach please! How can anyone apply critical standards to the mummy movies. If you didn't think the first one was le bad, and the second one, then what could possibly make the third one bad, or the seventh one?

Its like saying "matrix 2 was great, but matrix 3 just didn't measure up."

I generally agree, but...shouldn't it be 'Lord of the Rings' and not 'Lord of the Flies'? An idiotic mistake, in my opinion.

So that was the old lady standing in for Rachel Weisz? Wow, the actress actually has a name! I thought it was someone they grabbed from the studio cafeteria line. Execrable film. The rest of the cast should abandon the next sequel too. Smart move, Rachel Weisz!

UFFF!!!
