S ome movies should've signed a no-compete clause with themselves. The action beats are more like action beat-downs. One Wow cancels out the last Wow, until the Wows start looking more like lowercase wows and ...

Why does it not surprise me this movie looks and sounds lame? Brendon Fraser is an annoying, non-talented Harrison Ford wannabe in another tired franchise that won't go away. I'll stay away, very far away...

Hulk was also a really great movie to see. The actors were great. Ed Norton is so gorgeous and liv tyler is one of the great actresses and she is also gorgeous. They have talent.

Personally, I can't wait to see this movie. I liked the first two installments, so that means that I'll more than likely enjoy this movie, too. It's like any other "franchise" or "sequeled" movie: if you liked the first couple of movies in a series, you'll probably like the next one, too.

Have to admit, the commercials/trailers for this one didn't look too interesting....and without Rachel Weisz, why even bother?
Her charm got me through the first two..and the hottie that played the Egyptian queen. Something about evil hot chicks...or maybe I've been married too long.

I love this quote from the review...

" The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" is bleh, though it's likely to click with the public, given the enormous profitability of the first two in the recent "Mummy" cycle.

Translation: "The movie sucks, but most people are too stupid to realize it."

I have no interest in this movie, and there is way too much CG in today's movies, but why take a shot at the movie public? This is supposed to be entertainment, and if lots of people like it, so be it.

I think I'll just rent it. I liked the first two...so...renting the third isn't so bad of an option.

I'll probably mute the sound as well to not have so much thwumping sounds.

The headline says "'Mummy' sequel sends franchise off track."

When, exactly, was this franchise ever "on-track"?

I agree with many of the posters above...stop with all the CGI crap!
