I agree with you comrade, the girlfriend should
checked out first. He had so much going for
himself, its hard to believe he would do such a
thing. He is forever at peace now.

I grew up with Richard in Bensonhurst. We went from Kindergarden straight through Hunter College together. Kept in touch with him from time to time through the years and loved seeing his show when he performed here on the Island. Always was a gentleman with a wonderful wit! May he rest in peace and my condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

Oh, and he was born in 1957, even though preliminary reports say he was born in 1962. We started kindergardent in 1962!

Yeah? And YOU'RE one sick puke! I was saddened, this morning, when I read Jeni's obituary in the paper. There were DAMN FEW stand-up comics who could make me laugh, and HE was definitely one of them. George Carlin, Chris Rock and Kathy Griffin are some of the OTHER comics who can crack me up. I guess it bears repeating, but MOST comics are really, sad, depressed people inside. The witty, funny person (on the outside) is what they WANT people to see, NOT the inner-self that is in pain.
So it was with Richard Jeni. Sad. Rest In Peace, funny man.

May he rest in peace. This is truly sad, they say at the heart of every comedian is a tormented soul.

You are truly a thoughtless and insensitive human being. Your choice of names proves as much.

Try not to speak!! You only make yourself appear morose and idiotic. If you have no real feelings of sympathy for this man or his family, then why not just goto another forum? Or try not to speak at all!!!
