Just saw 'Public Enemies' and I am continually amazed that filmmakers never seem to understand that a 20 round magazine in about a second. Yet right at the first act we have Dillinger firing better than 100 rounds form one 20 round mag. There are times in the film when they do reload, but mostly it is like the old westerns when both the good guys and bad guys all shoot way more than the six rounds ever Colt Single Action actually loaded!
It completely takes away from the otherwise good production and fine acting of the film.
I am just thankful I did not pay more that $2.25 to see it here in my small Texas town.
I give it a 7 out of 10 and if they knew how to keep score on the ammo, it would be a 9 PLUS!

make that: "Just saw 'Public Enemies' and I am continually amazed that filmmakers never seem to understand that a Thompson Submachinegun fires 20 round magazine in about a second.
