A work in progress

There are 3 comments on the LA Daily News story from Aug 22, 2009, titled A work in progress. In it, LA Daily News reports that:

Dressed in black, Robin Williams seems a bit subdued. Subdued, however, is a relative term for the actor-comedian. A series of clips from his career have just played, reminding us how through the years Williams has been like a comic ping-pong ball - his wild, inventive and often risque humor bouncing wildly from subject to subject.

More stupid then funny
If you mean Jerry Lewis, yes but then he makes up for it with Jerry's Kids. Sacha Baron Cohen is NOT funny! Robin Williams is a riot. But I admit not for everybody maybe just to a person who grew up in the same town as Jonathon Winters while watching Abbot and Costello in movies and on TV, to me Robin Williams is funny.

If you don't like Robin Williams you wouldn't get the Marx Brothers or Laurel and Hardy and the Three Stooges would be torture. Maybe I'm cracked but to me they are all hilarious but then as I said I didn't get Borat or Bruno, they left me cold, so there is a line for everyone.

How refreshing it will be to one day read an article on a comic or actor without having to also read one of their lame attacks and cheap shots on a Rebublican. Why does Williams find it necessary to use this interview for promoting his new movie as a forum to take jabs at both Bush and Palin? Once again, it proves that those who claim to be the most open minded and tolerant of others are neither.

Robin who, not a funny guy at all
You must be too young to have seen his act in the 70-80s. He IS hilarious, and thanks to medical technology, will give many more people a laugh. Something so sorely needed in these times.
Politics? who cares? It's part of the ACT.
I've had open heart (X2) congenital defect) and find MOST days as gravy. If I can give a little to others then I am happy.
Let's leave politics and jabs out of this for once.
