No, that's Not Stevens Street. The Eklunds/Wards Did live for many years on Stevens Street but Charlene's house was Not filmed on Stevens Street. In the movie one of the sisters did say re: Charlene "...she lives on Stevens Street!" before they all jumped in the car to drive over to confront her. But Stevens Street is Not what it used to be, sad to say, and the traffic is much too heavy to have filmed that scene on it. This particular scene was indeed filmed on a street over near Tyler Park - it was Definitely not Stevens Street.
just sayin

What a Great movie. Today it was announced that Christian Bale was just nominated for a Boston film award and he really should be nominated for, at the Very least, a Golden Globe. His work is Brilliant in this movie and he Nailed Everything - from the Lowell accent to all of Dickie's mannerisms, down to the ground. Say what you want about the family - but there's love there and a great story which made a great movie. And for once, it did not reflect poorly on Lowell - matter of fact, we should all be proud.
