I think we all know who Jessica Simpson is at this point dont really need the long description. Still I am shocked at how Dixon May Fair gets big names.

Jessica Simpson is the best they could do? Well, I guess that'll be a good night to keep the windows closed. I thought the idea was to bring in people who inspire area residents to buy tickets.

I didn't know Jessica Simpson was a "singer-songwriter-actres s". Don't think I could sit through one of her performances. B-I-M-B-O.

Isaak is good. Sounds like Orbison. Probably not a lot of hoodies at that event.

As for Chris Isaak and a bit of irony, that Best Of CD also includes his rendition of Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me". who of course, are Thursday's headliner.

I love Chris Isaak's music. I'm planning on attending. He's almost as good as Roy Orbison.

may fair is the oldest fair/event of its kind in california. dixon is a small town,so yes it is sortof weird how they bring big names there. it hasnt always been that way, just as of a few years ago. so far, i dont know all who have came, but i know shania twain was there, lynryd skynrd, reo speedwagon, jessica simpson, and many others have performed there. yes it is to bring more people to the fair. it does get alot of attention as it is. they have a parade saterday morning, and sunday is always mothers day. the derby was a big event for years there, before concerts. now they move it to sunday eve. but at least its still there. going tonite to watch my dad win...again. lol.

I went to see Jessica Simpson... I was very disappointed. The show started late. About 20 minutes after it was supposed to start the DJ from KNCI came out and said Jessica would be out in about ten minutes... 40 Minutes later Jessica finally did come out. That was disappointment number one. Then when she finally does come on stage she acted like a drunk.. all loopy like... and it was beyond the blonde issue... and she wouldn't stop talking about Tony Romo and how much she loves him... kinda unprofessional.. There went disappointment number 2. Then for disappointment number three she started to sing one of her songs and then forgot the lyrics... told the band "wait wait wait" and then had them start the song over.. and she still forgot the lyrics and was asking the audience if it was right. But the band kept playing and she eventually remembered the lyrics and sang the song. And to top it off... the concert was only 75 minutes long... and she look a 15 minute break in the middle.. so that means we only got an hour of entertainment... for 42 bucks a piece... but i will say when she wasn't talking or forgetting lyrics. or shaking her behind awkwardly that the music was good. But still a lil disappointing... ya know??

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
