Does anyone know if Scofield's passing will create renewed interest in finding Alaun Owen's 1969 teleplay "Male of the Species" so that it can be put on DVD?

Perhaps 2 of his costars in that broadcast, Michael Caine and Sean Connery, will add their clout to see that this drama is preserved for all time on DVD, since Scofield won his Emmy for that performance.

I'd love to see "Male of the Species: as well. Does anyone know who owns the film now, and where they might be approached?

This is part of the ITV collection. Details at ITN Source Web Site. I'm not clear on whether it's for short-term hire or sale. Shall we get a pool together/
