Forget all the bodyguard schools and classes they only want your money. You will get a certificate but it won't get you a job.... There is a lot of bad info out there I just saw a site and it said by some professional who knows nothing..he said apply for referring to California for a BSIS guard card and that allows you to carry a concealed weapon also ..WRONG.. and because he would pass along such misinformation it shows he has no credibility.
What you need to do if you really want to be a executive protection agent and or bodyguard in the celebrity or corporate environment you need to get military and or police trng and experience. Preferably both. You need that yto get the good jobs.
Without police or milit backgrpound your jobs wil be limited and there's really only a few firms that handle the celebrities and they won't hire you.
Som get the police and milit background then apply to the state of Calif for your guard card BSIS and weapons card and then file for a CCW which you will have if you are a police officer.
Good luck..
