Quote "Romine said traffickers usually approach parents of impoverished families and entice them with money, fame or even a better life just to let the kids go with them.
She also noted that 50% of all pimps are women, which makes profiling of traffickers even harder. "A well-dressed Filipina will come to you and say,'We'll make your child a star.' This is poverty driven. These are minors, little tiny ones," she said"
and ""Cebu has a horrible problem, Cotabato, Davao...Of course, any place that has a port where they can just take them out. It's so easy when you just put them on a boat. No papers, nothing," she said."

Nice. And some believe the problem rests solely with foreigners. Looks like it starts in your own backyard. Disgusting Filipina/o pimps....and the customs officers in the Philippine Ports should be shot if caught taking a bribe in exchange for a child's life.
Sick, sick sick!!!!

why Philippines and other third world countries around Southeast Asia is very stupid and ignorant?
Many people have been successfully smuggled out/sneaked out of their countries and they have made Malaysia as the hub country. Many are stupidly blaming the Malaysian government for letting them in, for making Malaysia as a safe haven for these people but also blaming Malaysia for deporting, playing rough, discriminating all those people who stay illegaly here. It happened but it's only one out of thousands and it's only natural that we act that way seeing that they're the one who are illegal here.
While we've captured, deported, captured, deported, captured again, deported again those same person agai on and on and on their government seemed to have done nothing to prevent its citizen from becoming illegal immigrants, rising other county's crime rate etc

And because of that we have become the one who have to spend our money! Most of you are blaming the politician, i thanked God my country's politicians are not as corrupt, i know how devastating corruption is to a country's growth. But can't you do something to stop the corruption? Like forming of separate organization to reduce it, it can be a very effective weapon against corruption.
Like Indonesian government's KPK.
Maybe rising wage will do for now?
