I would take the words of the gal/guy on the street who work for America 9-5 rather than some multimillionaire Hollywood primadonna.

That's a very biased statement. Just because he's in Hollywood, he's not allowed to be a human being, or to have an opinion? What's the 9-5 guy/gal doing about Darfur, just for the record?

Don't give me that little miss goody two shoes stuff the only reason you are enamored with George and let us not forget Billy are because they are actors, yes, Billy too, if they were Joe slob you could care less about Darfor or any-other dot on this earth. If George said that it would be nice if you voted Republican, you would probably think about it. How can you be that easy? If dumpy Rosie says something about anything or Barbara starts talking I should go out and endorse what they say as true is nuts. Mainly because I think they are nuts. It's amazing, when people acquire money they all of a sudden become experts on the world scene.
Well, tourists have gone for the summer, pretty soon the deer hunters will show up for a couple of weeks or so and then the town dies. cold wind blowing in from the lake, snow right up to a heifer's butt, I hope your computer doesn't go south on you winter will be there for a long time.

I agree with you, Observer. Like anybody else, George have right to express his view, opinion & concern about any issues and he said what he has to say. Professionals and people on the street alike can talk politics so nothing wrong with an actor talking politic. Difference is George has more access to the media so his voice is heard by public.

Ok. I was mentioning about George Clooney.

I have no idea what's Bush policy in Iraq. However, increasing violence and killing among the people as we see every day on tv is not a good outcome.

Apparently most of you people don't work with actors. Otherwise you would know their opinions are void.

I understand some of the politicians have complained about his acting. These people are the real actors as they pretend to care about us, the Constitution, and the safety of the United States of America. They put in three days a week. And don't hand me that crap that they are working when they come back to their homes, they are only wielding their power. And you have to work at least until may to pay your taxes and their $176,000 salary. And they have all those mea culpa pleas when they get caught doing something wrong. You try to hide $1,000,000 like Harry Reid, you're going to jail baby.

Invade (we will get all the money back)
Occupy (we will be greated as liberators)
Democracy (a public with tons of guns, in one of the most youth-populated countries, with a history of major secterian strife, in the midst of muslim fundamentalism)

What happened to the cynical bastards in the senate who would have exploded upon hearing plans of occupying a middle eastern country in the first place.
Even a child should be able to attack the people who didnt question such a clearly dangerous arrogant no-thought plan with the only reason behind it being reports of iraq having WMD's.
