This may be irrelevant, but I think the reviewer meant irreverent.

You keep saying that they make the audience "work." Right. God forbid you should actualy have to think when you go and see a movie not just sit there in the multiplex with your mouth hanging open, consuming a 7 dollar tub of popcorn while you're bombarded with explosions and a dumbed down, lowest common denominator script.

by the way, clayton wasn't much of an acting stretch, the diva himself just plays himself,
over and over and over....the film was fair, the script terrific, the director did quite well. Kuddos to him...the last good film with Georgia,
