enviornmentalism = socialism

Those areas seemed to have lasted fine until now ... just remember the massive forest fires caused by previous land restrictions.
They even fined the homeowner who disregarded their rules, and cleared the brush around his home ... the only home that survived the Lake Tahoe fires.

I followed the Senate and the floor speeches regarding this bill...I was physically ill.

If people only would wake up...they are not going to ever realize anything until it is too late...and we will be getting to that breaking point soon at the rate the leftists are going.

This is a passion of mine when it comes to the greenies and their agendas, not just here, but world-wide.

God we need to get out of the UN...which I have been saying for more years than I can remember.

This land grab by the govt. is absolutely horrendous...I read or heard somewhere that the govt. with this bill passing has finally succeeded in acquiring control of more land now than the private property owners.

Be afraid...very afraid.

Just curious... did Obama post this bill for 5 days for public review?

Or was it 'emergency' legislation?

This is the insidious nature of the enviornmental/socialist movement
You can't oppose anything we do or you are for pollution.
The fact is, there is no human activity that the enviornmentalist can't point to and say it is polluting ... even the simple act of walking down the street.
This makes it the perfect vehicle to control people's lives, confiscate property "for the public good", and attack capitalism. Exactly what this wide ranging 1200 page bill does under the guise of "enviornmentalism".

You don't have to be a registered republican to see that the liberal/Obama agenda is leading this country to ruin. Actually, both parties are. The difference is that democrats are on the expressway.

I also find it highly amusing that a guy who's never managed so much as a Burger King (Obama) presumes to scold captains of industry. That he gets away with it only serves to speak volumes about the imbecility of his followers.

Gotta protect our federal land ... do you really think foreign governments LOAN us money without COLLATERAL? Besides the taxes they get from the people, LAND is the #1 backing as collateral for the HUGE government deficit. Think about it ... do you think money is loaned to us WITHOUT some sort of backing? Oh, sure "the full FAITH and CREDIT of our government", LOL. Money lenders need COLLATERAL.

Typical Obama... Expand protection of trees and rocks, while radically supporting sucking the brains out of babies in the womb. His supporters would chain themselves to trees to protect "potential" eagle life in an egg, but have someone else throw their own children in a human dumpster.

Remember, Obama added to his a team a woman (Carol Browner) who belonged to a socialist group that feels America had it too good too long. She was a member at the time of her appointment, but soon as her association became news, her name was dropped for the memebership list on the group's website.
.
I have felt for sometime there is a strong element in the Democrat Party whose goal is population reduction in this country. To help accomplish this, you need to restrict access to natural minerals forcing jobs to go offshore. Oh, the Dems will throw you a few bones like green jobs, but no matter how much electric made by wind turbines, you won't save enough to pay for the imported products this country will need. For ages I thought people like Alex Jones were kooky alarmists, reading the news lately I am not so sure anymore.
.
The leftist elites of this country sold the average joe a real bill of goods in the 2008 election.

It's so damn amusing to see the liberal agenda is the bought off media and then one day later hear it again from the mouths of their little sheep. It's also F**king hilarious to hear a guy from Athens GA call anything or anyone "low brow." GA= low brow.
