Alex is famous for his photo references which help him achieve the perfect photorealistic effect. In my opinion Frank Kasy doesn't look like Superman at all but his face has this quality, which Alex is able to capture so perfectly and then put that into his rendition of Supes.

I meant he doesn't look like Superman in that photo above the article, but there are other photos where, well, you think you're looking at the Kingdom Come Superman living and breathing!!!
