Ewoks: avatar comfort

Ewoks are a fictional band of creatures in George Lucas's Star Wars universe.
Ewoks are half-sized teddy-bear-like forest dwellers who come up with ingenious ways to survive, cook, hunt, play, and thrive on their lush and imaginative habitat on the Forest Moon of Endor.
Because Ewoks represent both play and resourcefulness, they capture the bright qualities of the avatar-rich Star Wars saga.
Do these metaphoric considerations illuminate the economic appeal of the Hollywood (USA) movie "The Care Bears Movie" (1985)?
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
