5 worst superhero movies

There are 25 comments on the WNDY-TV Indianapolis story from Jun 17, 2011, titled 5 worst superhero movies. In it, WNDY-TV Indianapolis reports that:

For all the enduring superhero movies that have been made over the years - "The Dark Knight," the original Christopher Reeve "Superman," Tobey Maguire's first two turns as "Spider-Man" - there are just as many that don't exactly live up to their own mythology or the expectations of their legions of followers.

I am sure he'll come back and tell us all how on a technicality he dreams up, that Rambo does actually fall into the super hero category. Wait for it...

According to him, he's never been wrong, ever.

I don't really have five, but these come to mind imediately:

Green Hornet (although Kato was bad-ass, as usual)

I liked Tobey Maguire - it was Kirsten Dunst that ruined that movie.

I disagreed. There was several times in that movie my pants get a tad snuggier.

Can "The Green Lantern," with Ryan Reynolds, defeat so much as mosquitoes?

Yeah there really aren't degrees of good/bad for super hero flicks. Either they get off the ground (ala Dark Knight) and soar, or crash on the runway.

While it's easy to attribute success or failure to a central character (Heath Ledger, eg) it's really the script that makes or breaks the film.

But I guess it's like anything else, the great is remarkable and the rest, forgettable...

I think they beat the Batman movies into the ground. Like every star wanted a piece of the pie, very cheesy to me.
The original, at the time, was pretty much the best one.

The old Batman and Robin series was the best. The dry humor was hilarious.
