I will not watch the View again if they bring on Rosie. She comes on interviews now and you cannot even listen to her because she won't let anybody else talk but her. I remember on Martha and (it was Martha's show) and Rosie totally took over and made the entire show so stupid and not worth watching. Rosie will do the same thing to the View. The entire panel will turn into bitter bitches trying to compete with each other. I want watch that train wreck. The View will be a mess with Rosie on board. I won't watch it and I can guarantee you thousands of Neilsan viewers feel the same way.

The view lost it's best co-host when meredith leaves. The rest simply get's on my nerves if Star isn't talking about her boobs or her husband ,then Joy is making a joke about every single topic that's discussed,i mean come on everything can't be funny and poor Elizabeth is just there every once awhile she'll say her opinion ,but 95%of the time she's shot down by Star or Joy. The only time when things are sane is when Barbara is there, now we've got Rosie who is only going to bring more chaos to the asylum all i can say is PLEASE DON'T GO MEREDITH!!!!!!!!!!

I am loving the fact that Rosie is coming on. Elizabeth is so naive It will be nice to have someone else who has lived a wee bit longer than her with her perfect ideals.
Joy and Meredith are my other faves and I wish Meredith a wonderful future.

I will. I loved her show. She add some fresh life to that show-- good for ABC... the show was getting stuffy.

OMG, me either. If Barbara Walters even tries to blame the show's failure after Rosie O'Donnell comes on, she better think again. To me, asking Rosie to join the show was like putting a noose around your neck. I think they just hung themselves.

I think Rosie O'Donnell is rude, crude and on top of it is ugly and fat. There is nothing about her I like. She is a loud mouthed fat lesbian that needs to shut up. I mean, look at her favorite actor - it was always "Tom Cruise" and we all know that Tom baby has just lost his mind.

Oops, I meant to say in my previous post that if Barbara Walters tries to blame the show's failure on the fact that Star Jones left, that won't be the reason....it will be her idiotic decision to add Rosie O'Donnell to the payroll.

i loved meredith and am excited about her great opportunity, but i am also VERY excited about rosie. i think she is real, honest, genuine, and doesnt act "hollywood", but rather like all the rest of us everyday people. as far as little miss star, i couldn't be happier to see her leave and leave the way she is. i have always hated her snotty self righteous self and think she is vein and extremly FAKE! she has showed her lack of maturity and respect for the people that actually gave her a chance to make a name for herself.

I will not watch The View with Rosie O'Donnell and her loud mouth. They have lost this viewer and many others so it looks. Joy has a loud enough mouth why add another?

Barbara Walters made a bad choice, she obviously headed to
retirement soon because her judgments are cloudy! I will not
watch "The View" and I will tell others it is not worth
watching-it will be cancelled soon, the new addition-Rosie Posie O'Donnell will not help only hurt!

I will miss Meredith, she made the right choice of leaving! Star Jones made it more
exciting and now I will not tune in to the
show. I will also spread the word of how
they treated Star Jones-she helped the show
and this is what they do to thank her. I hope
Star Jones gets a new show or co-host a new
show and the ratings swallow "The View".

POOR Ms.Elisabeth! She's going to be outnumbered by all those liberals. I thought it was supposed to be 'the View', you know with different perspectives and.... views! Hers are now to be the only traditional views and she's so timid and sweet, oft times the eat her alive. She's not of Hollywood like the rest.
Barbara is safe at all times... Miss PC herself. Always a safe opinion, nothing to stick on her after the show.
Much as I think Rosie is a hoot-- I don't want to hear her volume when it comes to all her ANGRY and BITTER views. I think she'll dominate the table.
ABC, you lost another viewer in the long haul--I'll peek in at first, so don't count your ratings too soon. I think Mickey and Walt are ashamed of you, too. Keep thinking...(WWWD) "What would Walt do?" THEN you'd have a winning formula.

Different perspective I hope on the future of The View. First I have not thought of them as informative women but more entertainment. Like or love it, or hate it, you choose. The info given on the show is not necessarily helpful unless you are in their family or circle of friends. The really think of the viewers maybe once a week. It's all about ratings, ratings, ratings. I too wish Meredith and Star the best in their future endeavors. As for BW Joy and Liz they will still get their paychecks, so no worries for them. I do hope they can find someone to snap back and forth like the departed two ladies otherwise......it's over baby. Happy Viewing!!

Rosie a team player? Can she work at the table as one of five? Doubtful. Barbara Wa-Wa, you'll have your hands full with this one!
-Rosie, the comedian as a replacement for Meridith, a world-class reporter?
-We can hardly wait to see Joy and Rosie competing for the best one-liner, who can be louder, funnier...
This View will be in the rear view mirror by mid-season.

Isn't that a requirement to be on The View? None of them let anyone else talk. I'd much rather listen to Rosie than listen to Star.

I will never watch the show again and think it is time for Barbara Walters to give it up. Rosie O' has her own agenda and I don't think "The View" is the place for her to play it. I always respected Barbara Walters for her professionalism in the news field... now she is just another entertainer living on the edge.

the View used to be a great show to watch, but its turned into a joke. It was sad to see Meredith leave, but to hear that they are replacing her with Rosie, come on. Enough already. What happened to a great talk show. To bad... it used to be a good show. I won't be watching if Rosie is on it. Not my cup of tea that is for sure.
