I have mixed feelings about CBS & horror since Moonlight. I'll probabily watch keeping in mind that CBS won't give it much of a chance

how is she a "supernatural vet" when she had a reoccurring role during season 3, in which she only appeared in 6 episodes. Out of the 60 episodes of supernatural s1-3, thats only 10%. Hardly a vet. I think ive made myself clear.

You haven't really made anything clear. A solider who served one tour of duty in Vietnam is a Vietnam veteran. A solider who served three tours of duty in Vietnam is a Vietnam veteran. Nobody measures veteran status on a by-percentage basis. The issue is service, not duration.

If it were one episode, perhaps your logic would make sense, but as it was a recurring arc for a segment of a season, she is most certainly a veteran of the show. If the article had called her "'Supernatural' Star Katie Cassidy," you would have a point, though. But it doesn't.

The definition of the word veteran has different meanings when it is applied to different things Gavin. You are indeed correct in your usage when it relates to someone who served - of or relating to former members of the armed forces.

However, when using the word in regards to an actor it fits the definition of having had long experience or practice - a veteran actor.

So, the point that i hope i am making clear is, she was not in enough episodes of supernatural to be considered a veteran of the show.

I liked Katie Cassidy in Supernatural and liked Christopher Gorham in Ugly Betty so am really looking forward to giving Harper's Island a viewing. I hope it's a good show.
