I agree with you. The right word is gipsy, but i dont care either if they use the term ”roma”.
Secui is the romanian word (plural) for szekely.Both are right from this point of view.
I understand what you mean, but still i think the gipsy people will get more and more rights in future, no matter if someone likes or not the idea.
These human rights are made for everybody and the gipsy ppl will be very numerous in 50-100 next years in Europe.

The reality is very different.
Look at Hungarians. They live in harmony in Hungary and Transilvania with Gipsy.
So, no way back, not any ”turned 180 degrees”. At contrary. Maybe they are some fresh blood, some vital impulse for Hungary. Of course, if hungary and other countries will start consider them human beings and equals and not only when they sing or play some sport for us. In some good conditions they could become a great impulse for some bored, tired, depressed nations in Europe.

This topic is too hard for me to opine on....one grandfather Oltean, one Moldovean, and I won't even start with the Turks and Germans.......

Oh well, Oltenians, from what I have seen are a bit darker (not much) than other Romanians, and from what I saw here in America, remind me more of Greeks in mentality and stuff (kind of old fashioned ideas about women, a bit greasy, friendly, and quick tempered but smart).....Moldavians are blonde indeed and hard workers with a good honesty about them, but damn are they some backwards mother flowers and loads of psychos up there..

As for Hungarians like Zsa Zsa.....

well, as my Turkish relatives said "Welcome to the 'glorious' European heritage"...ha ha
